REKINDLING ROMANTIC FEELINGS

One of the ways
In which you rekindle
Romantic feelings in your heart
Is to exhibit them, elsewhere.

"I still feel so betrayed. He slept with a co-worker! After 8 years of marriage!"

"Bill, she doesn't turn me on, anymore. Between the weight, the way doesn't dress up anymore, the way she turns her head when I go to give her a kiss. She's always too tired for me..."

"I know that he stopped gambling. That's great! But, after years of stress and arguments, I don't have those romantic feelings, anymore."

There are too many reasons why we might no longer hold romantic feelings toward our spouse. Some valid, some perhaps not so valid. Yet, all result in real consequences.

It is far from an easy task to rekindle the romance that one once held in their heart. But, it is not impossible! (In most instances.)
The 1st step is to begin an ever increasing stream of romantic actions. When we do something bad, we feel bad in our heart. When we do something good, we feel a glow.

Now, at the beginning, either one or both of you will find some of this 'artificial'. And, perhaps, question the motivation. If asked, you need to explain to your wife or husband that you do still love them. And, that rebuilding a romance with them is on eof your highest priorities. One that when (not 'if') achieved, will remain a priority for you.

Eventually, you will likely see positive results. Your partner will act more warmly toward you. That in turn will please you. And, the cycle will continue, with the feelings deepening.

Will this work for everyone? Of course, not. But, it will likely work for many or most of you. And, isn't reconnecting and strengthening your marriage worth the effort? And, better than the alternatives?

'Nuff said!
